Lots of new treats ...

Well as always when I have neglected my blog, it's been because I have been busy making .

I have forever loved flash art (tattoo drawings) and after choosing some favourites I have made these. I've been trialling these pinup beauties at markets over the last few months and will now offer them in custom colours ...

I've also been trying to think of some eco projects to minimise the wastage. As anyone who makes stuff knows it, some projects can leave quite a few scraps that most of us think are unusable.

I have managed to come up with a few ideas of using my offcuts from dresses and also recreating new from old garments that I will be launching at the BrisStyle Eco and Vintage market in July.

BOUT 2: Love Rockettes vs Diner-might Dolls

The 2nd roller derby bout of the season, on May 15, will follow a tremendously successful start for the Northern Brisbane Rollers.

The good news is NBR is doing this again. We know that Brisbane loves derby and the next bout will be better than ever. More bars, shorter queues, more grandstand seating, and the same old ready to rumble attitude.

Roller Derby is truly the BEST SPECTATOR SPORT EVER! Two all girl, roller skate wearing teams of 5, compete against each other around an oval track. Roller derby is a fast-paced full contact womens team sport that requires speed, strategy, and athleticism.
