Clearing out and making room ...

With my upcoming nuptials and being off work for the last 2 months I have decided to clear out the catacombs of my closet and sewing room and sell some clothes and stuff  with the hope to make some money. Weddings seem to add money to everything! Even when you're trying for a handmade wedding.

It has actually been a bit fun clearing out the clothes and I have been a bit brutal (which is hard for me when clothes and shoes are involved) and so over the next few weeks and months I will be selling off unused and pre-loved clothes, shoes, fabric and books.

Here's a sneak peek of a few things ... I'll post links on this blog when the listings are up at eBay ...

Girls clothes, new dresses in the store and boys pants on sale

New dresses have been placed in the MadeIt and Etsy stores ...

Over the next week I will be adding the dresses and skirts I have been taking to markets for little girls sized 2-8

and reducing the price of the boys pants from $25 to $15 sized 6months to 4 years

also new clips will be added as soon as I can find the time to take pics of them!

Recovery 1,2,3 ...

Racecourse Rd Street Party was a great day and it was fantastic hanging with Pete all day.
I had a great day catching up with all the BrisStylettes and meeting a handful of new ones who came along.

My in-laws looked after the kids and brought them in for a look-see, they had a great time watching the Erth show and it was cool watching the Dinosaurs walk the streets.

Finally the weather has begun to really warm up and I can break out my dresses again

Now after a solid month of back to back markets every weekend all month it's time to recover and recuperate. Back to making more stock soon!

A lot of time will have to be devoted to cleaning up my sewing room which looks like it's been hit with a bomb. This also means it's a great time to get in there and remove some of the fabric I have stashed.

We'll be having a garage sale soon and I plan on using that time to clear out HEAPS of patterns and fabric and haby items and craft extras

Craft adventures ... no wind in my sails

I was actually starting this blog to mainly focus on my crafty stuff, but I haven't had a lot of time to focus on that lately and instead have been flooding this little corner with imagery of my adventures small though they are.

So stay tuned because I have lots of stuff to put up here.
  • I am in the process of making some hairclips and buttons for the markets and my store.
  • I am making a few gifts for my friends who all happen to have birthdays around this time of year. Some softies and dreamcatchers and jewellery so I will post them too!
  • I have been baking up a storm recently and keep forgetting to take some photos but I will post some gorgeous recipes here soon.
  • I have some new kids stuff coming
  • There are more gorgeous girls dresses at the machine now
  • I am halfway through a batch of ladies pencil skirts and tops
  • I am also starting a line of skirts and leg and arm warmers for Derby girls too
I'ma gunna be busy ... but pics will be forthcoming ...
